The Pier Inn is one of Whitby’s harbour front’s gems, known locally for excellent food and a great atmosphere. Based right on the harbour’s edge, The Pier Inn sports 7 cosy rooms to hire, stunning views, and a hearty breakfast – partly thanks to Johnson Reed.
Recently we were approached by supplier Brakes Catering Equipment to provide finance for The Pier Inn to replace their entire kitchen with a brand new range of equipment.
We helped provide £37,000 worth of equipment leasing to allow The Pier to completely transform their kitchen and help solidify their reputation amongst locals and tourists of their commitment to quality service and excellent food.
We were particularly pleased with our deal with The Pier, as we were able to provide a very quick turn-around for the finance, with simple paperwork and a very simple process. We were able to supply the finance for a very diverse range of kitchen equipment – something traditional lenders can be reluctant to do.
Best of all, thanks to the inherent benefits of Johnson Reed’s equipment leasing deals, we were able to provide huge tax advantages, negate a large lump sum payment thanks to fixed term repayments, and provide a dedicated account manager for The Pier Inn to deal with us.
