It has been a busy few months for fish and chip shops!
On the back of over a dozen new fish and chip shop clients, we have been introduced to Mary Janes, a very well established fish and chip shop in the Norfolk coast, incredibly well known locally and often referred to as the “most famous fish and chips on the coast”.
Having been trading in the family for, as quoted by owner Grant, “donkeys years”, Johnson Reed were recently asked to provide assistance for a £150,000 refurbishment program, comprising of full refurb, brand new catering equipment and frying range.
Whilst the business was very successful, they had been trading on equipment that was 20 years old, so it was time for an upgrade! After we spoke with the owners and got to know Mary Janes, we were delighted to be able to help them secure the finance they needed.
The refurbishment is expected to seriously increase turnover and provide an all-in-one customer experience without comprising on the established standard of food that the locals and tourists now expect.
