Tender Cow expands Mackie Mayor offering with new equipment finance

Tender Cow Johnson Reed Mackie Mayor

Increasingly-popular Altrincham-based Tender Cow expanded their offering at Manchester city centre-based food market Mackie Mayor with new equipment and fit out finance with Johnson Reed. In order to meet the ever increasing demand, director Matthew Walsh looked to fit out the kitchens and eating areas with state-of-the-art catering equipment to help continue the great service and quality it has become known for.

The popular food outlet, which serves grass-fed rare breed British beef in steak sandwiches and burgers, as well as other favourable menu staples, has grown since its inception at the Altrincham Food Market. The business wanted to expand to Mackie Mayor, a similar concept of food outlets, in Manchester city centre, providing the same great service too an even bigger audience. To ensure Matthew and his team could continue keeping customers happy, he decided that continuous expansion should be facilitated through finance, and a decision had to be made, which was an easy one in the end. By financing their new equipment, Tender Cow could keep cash for a rainy day, spread payments and manage cash flow, whilst continuing to increase revenue and serve the people of Manchester.

“Thanks again to Mark and Johnson Reed for financing my new equipment, we couldn’t have done it without them, and our expansion rolls on!”

Matthew Walsh, Tender Cow

“Great to see Tender Cow expanding and great to be a part of it. I recently nipped in for a light lunch and it was mega, one of the best burgers I’ve had.”

Mark Johnson, Johnson Reed
