The newly refurbished Farmers Arms in Poynton is absolutely stunning. It’s rustic bare bricked walls; wooden floors, painted cows and beautifully upholstered seating are truly a delight for the eyes.

But it isn’t just the visuals that appeal as co-owners Martin and Simon boast, “It’s our food that’s really special.” Their chefs carefully select the best locally sourced food from suppliers and change their Sunday menu weekly to offer something new for the customers to enjoy while sampling the award winning cask ale.

When Martin and Simon had owned the business for quite some time and decided to put £50,000 of their own money and join forces with the brewery to give The Farmers Arms a shake up. However, as the project costs increased they needed some extra help.

Simon tells us more, “Mark at Johnson Reed has helped enormously with building cost creeping up it was comforting to know we could rely on JR for the equipment fit out and spreading the funds over 36 months without any deposit means we will soon be debt free.” They also said they are looking forward to the tax breaks leasing brings having spent so much hard earned money on the refurbishment.

You can see from the pictures that the Farmers Arms is gorgeous and we are looking forward to helping the co-owners second pub ‘The Crown’ when it’s time comes for a facelift too.

Don’t take our word for it, please visit The Farmers Arms in Poynton today. If you’d like to look at more photos of the business and find out what it has to offer go to www.farmersarms.pub.
